As per Factory Act 1948,

Following are the few areas in which competent person to checked and Issued the Certificate and record to be kept.
1. Every hoist and lift shall be thoroughly examined by a competent person at least once in every period of Twelve months Certificate form No. 7A
2. All the lifting tools and tackles shall be thoroughly examined by a competent person at least once in every period of twelve months. form No.7A
3. Every pressure vessel or plant in service shall be thoroughly examined by a competent person externally once in every period of six months certificate in form No.8
4. Stability certificate of all building in a factory to be obtained from a competent person. This is valid for 3 years only.
