- Approval of quality assurance plan / inspection and test plan as per drawing, code, customer requirements.
- Witness of Pressure/ leak testing i.e. Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test, Helium leak test, Vacuum box test
- Witness of Heat treatment (Stress-relieving) of vessels, Heat treatment (Stress-relieving, Normalizing & solution annealing) of Dished ends.
- Review of radiographs
- Witness of Ultrasonic, Eddy current, liquid Penetrant & magnetic particle examination.
- Review and Approval of non-destructive examination Procedure (e.g. RT/UT/LPT/MPT)
- Qualification of welding procedure, welders, welding operator’s operator as per different construction code ASME Sec.-IX,EN 287-1, EN288-1, EN288-2, EN288-3
- Verification of Universal tensile testing machine as per IS 1828 (Part 1): 1991 Rev.02 [ ISO 7500- 1:1986] & ASTM E4 as a Third party inspection authority;
- Verification of Impact testing machine as per ASTM E23 & EN 10045 part-2
Following activities being performed during Inspection
- We receive intimation of performing inspection from our client in our specified format of inspection call or in client forma along with complete information.
- Based on item to be inspected we select competent person from our pool of Inspection engineers
- We communicate with vendor and schedule date of inspection and intimate same to client.
- Attend / organize pre-inspection meeting if required by client
- Our authorised inspection engineers vendors place and performs following inspection as per approved QAP/ITP, including
- Review of Client requirements i.e Purchase orders/client specifications/ Quality assurance Plan (QAP) , drawings/data sheets/applicable codes/standards/ specifications
- Verification of Material identification / Product Marking
- Visual Check of Items including weldments
- Review of stage Inspection reports or Witness of stage inspection
- Review of Material test certificates for raw material / Bought out items
- Witness of dimensional inspection
- Witness / Review of Non-destructive examinations (PT/MPT/RT/UT/ECT) as applicable
- Witness of Hydrostatic Pressure test of items as applicable
- Witness of Pneumatic Pressure test of items as applicable
- Review / Witness of Painting inspection
- Endorsement of Final Test report/certificates
- Identification of items with Inspector’s unique metal stamp
- Issue of Inspection reports and Inspection release note in our specified formats.
- Performance of packing inspection if required by client and reporting of the same to client
